What are you thankful for?
The American holiday Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we’d like to take this opportunity to tell you about some of the things we’re grateful for at MASH.
Thanksgiving is on the 23rd of November this year, and it’s the day where Americans celebrate the harvest and the time when the Native Indians helped the new settlers gather supplies before winter. Now it’s a time for family, eating until the point of bursting, watching American football and expressing ones thankfulness for all of this.
At MASH we have many things to be thankful for. Here we’d like to say our thanks for two sweet things: our guests and the MASH Dreamcake.
The MASH Dreamlike is a favourite dessert for many. It’s a reinterpretation of the classic Danish dessert, the dreamcake, and consists of a sponge base, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, brunsviger chiffon and crumble. What we love most about this dessert is it’s lightness. Dreamcake is generally known as a heavier cake, but our version is light as a feather – without losing any flavour. We’ve chosen to make our dreamcake like this so you’ll always have room for it, even after going one-to-one with our 1,3 kg Porterhouse beforehand.
The popular dessert has been on holiday during the Summer, but now the MASH Dreamcake has returned on the menu – and we are many who are thankful for this!
Besides the sweet finish to the perfect MASH experience, we are very grateful for you. Our guest. Without you there wouldn’t be any reason for experimenting with feather-light chiffon or grilling steaks all day. And then what would become of us?
Thank you. Thank you for visiting MASH and sharing our joy of food, no matter if you’re all about the Danish Rib-eye, the Tuna steak or only visit us for the dreamcake.
We look forward to seeing you at MASH again soon.
