MASH collects and processes personal data when you visit our websites. This personal data policy explains how your data is kept secure by MASH, as well as how and why we collect, process, and save your data.

Data collection:

When you visit, and/or, we automatically collect information about you and your use of the website: your IP-address, your browser, your network placement, and information about your device. Furthermore, our websites use cookies, which you can learn more about here.

Should you choose to receive our newsletter or/and be a part of MASH Family, we will additionally collect your name, email address and telephone number. This requires a written permission, it can be revoked by you at any time by following the instructions in the newsletter.

Additionally, we collect personal data about you when you contact us for booking or other purposes via phone, email or other contact forms, such as those found on Facebook.

Our restaurants are equipped with camera surveillance in order to provide the highest possible safety for our guests and employees. Recordings are stored on an encrypted server and deleted automatically after 15 – 25 days, depending on the activity on location. Our IT-providers are only able to restore video data following precise instruction from our data controllers.

Purpose of data collection:

We collect personal data in order to optimise your user experience on, and/or, and to tailor targeted advertising via third-parties such as Facebook and Google. 

Data collection for newsletters and MASH Family is necessary in order to provide you with newsletters with relevant information and offers from MASH.

Data collected through personal contact with MASH through telephone, email or contact forms on third-party sites such as Facebook, is necessary in order to ensure your inquiry is handled by MASH.

Data collected in the process of booking a table is required to ensure said booking and to contact you with regards to updates in your booking status.

Data sharing:

Information such as name, email address, and phone number can be shared with Copenhagen Concepts (owners of MASH).

If you book a table on, the personal data used to set up the booking (name, email address and phone number) are transferred to DinnerBooking.

Personal data can be shared with external partners who process data on behalf of MASH, including Facebook, Google and Mailchimp. Data is shared to ensure the optimal functionality of, and, as well as to target advertising and send newsletters. MASH has data protection agreements in place with all external partners, none of which are permitted to use personal data for other purposes than those outlined by MASH.

Some of our data processors store data outside of the EU, for instance in the USA. Through our data protection agreements, we can ensure that data stored outside of the EU is processed correctly and in correspondence to applicable law.

Data deletion:

Written consent for e.g. newsletters is deleted in the event that you recall your consent. Personal information can also be deleted if MASH no longer requires the data.
