MASH Denmark
All great stories have a beginning. So does MASH. We opened our very first restaurant on Bredgade in Copenhagen in April 2009. We spent many months researching the perfect location, brainstorming on the concept and selecting the menu. And luckily we did pretty good!
Of course we couldn’t keep our juicy steaks in the Capital. The second restaurant we opened was in the 2nd biggest city in Denmark, Aarhus. Here we have been serving delicious steaks since 2010, in the same building as The Ritz, just around the corner from Banegårdspladsen. 2010 was also the year when we opened our 3rd restaurant in the lovely surroundings in Charlottelund with a view of Øresund. MASH Skovriderkroen is located, as the name suggests, in the old Skovriderkro, and the rooms are cosy and atmospheric. Before we took the leap and opened restaurants outside the borders of Denmark we approached slowly by opening our restaurant in Copenhagen Airport, which started serving steaks in 2012. Here travellers can enjoy a delicious steak and a great glass of wine before their flight – the best possible start to any holiday!
In June 2015 we opened our doors at MASH Rungsted, where juicy steaks can be enjoyed in the restaurant and great glasses of wine on the terrace with a glorious view of Øresund. On October 23rd 2015 we opened a grand MASH Penthouse restaurant on the top of the new Tivoli Hotel. Our Penthouse restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor service with a big roof-top terrace, where you can enjoy steaks and drinks, when the weather agrees.
In 2016 we finally went to Fyn. Our ninth MASH restaurant opened on December 8th in the center of Odense on Vestergade 11. The restaurant can seat 110 dining guests, who can enjoy the very best, MASH has to offer. Juicy steaks, delicious starters and desserts, an extensive wine list a long with an ambitious bar with more than 100 whiskeys. In the basement we have our cosy Private Dining room with a view of our mesmerizing wine cellar – do come and visit our newest family member in Odense!
MASH opens a new restaurant in the Capital, centrally located on Frederiksberg, in the old bank building on Gammel Kongevej 116. Here the interior has been modernized with a new raw and urban feel, but the steaks are still of the highest quality and the restaurant can boast of a world class wine list – the wine cellar is of course located in the old bank vault and holds over 600 bottles.
